  We had a terrible experience. The menus included coupon sheets (which were also prominently displayed at the front entrance), but we were unable to use them because they were not effective until the following day. Our server was rude and bored. When she brought our meals, one was wrong and another was missing a side, and when we mentioned it, she was very put out by the request. Three of us had fries which were overcooked and tasted old. The baked potato was hard and overcooked, not soft and fluffy like it should be. My whole meal was cold, including the side gravy the server had to run back to get, with the exception of my roll, which was very fresh and tasty. Two of the four people in our party had hamburgers, which were dry and bland and clearly came directly from a box in the freezer. Both were left half-eaten. The ribs were bland with an unappealing sauce. The vegetables were so over-steamed they had no flavour. The wings were small and over-sauced to cover the fact the meat was super dry. Even my soda was flat. I suppose I should consider myself lucky that she didn't offer us refills on our drinks until we got our bill? Clearly we should have ordered the rotisserie chicken Swiss Chalet is famous for, but we'll never know because we will never go back. The only redeeming qualities of this experience were the few Scene Points we earned and that the bathrooms were clean, although one of the faucets didn't work when I tried to wash my hands. Four of us strongly recommend against eating here.

  The beef was cold, the salad was served after our entrees. Terrible service. Buns are hard as hockey pucks. First and only time Im comin here. Gravy was good though.
